Tallinn saw the 4th Russian Ball!

historical Russian Ball in
The mayor of Tallinn Edgar Savisaar was greeting the participants of the “Pushkin Ball”.
To the great surprise of the organizers more than a half of Ball’s guests were wearing the costumes in style of the XIXthcentury.

The King and the Queen were traditionally selected among the guests of the Ball. Wehada littlemorecompetitionsthisyear. Suchcompaniesas “ImperatorskijFarfor” (ImperialPorcelain) andcosmeticcompanyPulanna were giving away their prices.
The big cake, just before the main meal, was represented as an opened book, where one could read Pushkin’s poem.
